Workaround (or wait for fix) for problem with Jalview Develop on some macs

Anyone who recently installed Jalview Develop on a mac may have a problem with the application simply not appearing after the update splashscreen has gone.
There is a fix in place which should appear, and be autoupdated, shortly, but in the meantime if you need a workaround then put the following line:

PREFERRED_LAF=flat

onto the end of the file ~/jalview_develop_properties

The fix is now in place. When you launch Jalview Develop with a network connection it should automatically update and launch with a slightly different “look and feel”.
