The “Web services” do not work. In “Preferences”, the “Web services” has been notified in orange since this morning. The “Refresh services” option does not work. What can I do?

Thanks for letting us know about this. There was a glitch on the server that has now been cleared. Hopefully all working for you now?

If you are doing a lot of things with the web services you might like to consider installing a local JABAWS server. See the instructions here:
https://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/jabaws/
Not all the options shown on this page will work for all operating systems though. We used to support VMware player for windows but I am not sure if that is still available.
On Linux/Mac the options described should work OK but let us know if they don’t
