to use jalview for standalone application

Hello everyone,

i am trying to develop a standalone application on netbeans, and need to add an alignment viewer. So is it possible to add jalview jar and use it to display the multiple sequence alignment?
Would be great if someone could guide me in such direction.
Thanks.

Regards,
Nicee.

this is entirely possible, but you may need to tweak Jalview's GUI classes to work with your application.

Very nice to hear that you did this so painlessly ! If your program will be publicly available, please send me a link and a figure and I'll add it to the list of links on the www.jalview.org/links.html page.
