I tried to view the page source manually by following your “going to this page” link on IE, Firefox and Chrome. Unfortunately no one was working. Also when goes to the page, there is a prompt saying “An add-on for this website failed to run”.

and then right-click on the page for the option to View Page Source, does this work?

Hi David,
Unfortunately support for Java is being steadily removed from browsers (the latest being Firefox 53), and is likely to go entirely with the arrival of Java 9.
We shall look into updating the status of this on our web page (it is a moving picture!).
Currently I am able to run the Jalview applets using Safari. Is this an option for you?
