Problems Downloading Jalview

Hello,

I have had problems downloading and installing Jalview with the error of “the publisher cannot be verified” and Windows error 2 coming up. I was advised by my supervisor to email you to see if you can help because you were able to send us a more direct way to download the software in the past.

Hi Evette - sorry to hear you're having problems.

I have had problems downloading and installing Jalview with the error of
"the publisher cannot be verified" and Windows error 2 coming up.

yes - we have a plan to deal with this problem, but for the moment, the
only way you can install Jalview locally on windows using the
InstallAnywhere package is via the 'Jalview With VM' option.

Alternately, you can try launching the webstart version of Jalview. Just
click on the 'launch Jalview desktop' link.
