Jalview & Protein Structure and Function Prediction workshop: U. Liverpool - May 14-15th

Dear Jalview-Discuss !

If you haven't heard about it already, we'd like to let you know about a
two day workshop that Jim and Suzanne will be running with Dan Rigden
(one of our fabulous Scientific Advisory Board members!).

The workshop is on 14-15th May at the University of Liverpool's
Sherrington Building. Day 1 is focused on creating, analysing and
annotating sequence alignments (including cDNA/Protein) with Jalview
<http://www.jalview.org>. On Day 2, we turn our focus to 3D structure,
and with Dan's expert guidance, explore the creation and use of Protein
3D modelling for function prediction.

Registration for the course is free, thanks to our funding from the
Wellcome Trust and BBSRC for Jalview and the Dundee Resource for Protein
Structure Prediction <http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/drsasp.html>.
Please see the course program page
for instructions on how to register.

Thanks for reading, and please pass this on to anyone who may be
interested !

Jim Procter.

PS. Please also consider printing out the workshop poster
