Jalview Error Message

Dear Melissa,

www.jalview.org is definitely there and I have just successfully started the application by clicking on the link at the top right of that page after navigating to the page in Chrome.

If you googled jalview it is possible you hit an old page or a page that was cached on your locally to you that is no longer valid - I suggest you type in www.jalview.org into Chrome and if you still get the page error try holding down the shift key and clicking the reload button as this forces the browser to query the server rather than the cache.

If that does not work, I am not sure why you are getting the error.

Geoff.

Dear Melissa,

Hello Melissa, and others who hit a ‘page not found’ message when trying to launch jalview.

There was indeed a problem with www.jalview.org that meant that whilst the website was up, neither the Jalview Desktop or JalviewLite applet were available. We’ve fixed this now, and everything should be back to normal.

Sorry for the inconvenience - and for those of you getting ready for the holiday season, have a great Christmas and an even better 2013!

Jim Procter.
