Hi Jim
The next test is whether the JABAWS services are functional. If you
click on the services status link you should be able to see if
everything is working. If all the above work, and you still cant get Jalview to connect, then:
1. open the Jalview console window and hit clear.
2. Hit the 'refresh services' button on the webservices config panel -
send the contents of the console window to me directly.
Everything works on the website services status link
cleared console.
I have a webservices config panel (in the subwindow is the only one i can find) but i dont see a refresh services option or button or any obvious way to navigate to anywhere that may have such button.
my drop-down menu from web service has alignment, secondary structure, (protein disorder), Anlaysis , (Envision 2), Fetch DB references.
As for my other question, I am a benefiteer at the present, so theres no chance of making onto your course sadly, not with a PhD and the law as it stands, unless you know of any jobs.
Kind regards
James

Does anyone else experience the software crash when you try to click
on quality or consensus to adjust?Could you follow our FAQ re reporting this as a bug ?
http://www.jalview.org/faq#bugit would be great to have a way to simply show conservation alone-
but i am not finding a way to do it, could anyone point this out plsyou can configure this in Jalview's preferences (the 'Visual') tab.
Jim.
ps. these are exactly the kind of details that we will be covering in
our Jalview workshop - registration is still open for another week or so!------------------------------
