On 20th December 2021, we released Jalview 2.11.1.5 - available as stand-alone executable jar and via the Jalview Desktop application’s ‘over the air’ update mechanism.
Version 2.11.1.5 is a critical patch release that addresses the widely reported ‘log4shell’ security vulnerability. It also includes a fix for a bug affecting users working with very large alignments.
