Jalview’s services will be unavailable from 17:00 GMT on Thurs 9 Dec

Jalview’s website will be unavailable from 17:00 GMT on Fri 10 Dec

Everything should be back to normal by 09:00 Monday 13 Dec 2021

The downtime is due to major network engineering, and affects all of the Jalview and Barton group web servers.

If you urgently require Jalview analysis services during this period, we recommend you install the JABAWS virtual appliance and configure your Jalview desktop preferences so it can access it.

We don’t expect any problems, but we recommend avoiding running any teaching or courses involving Jalview on Mon 13th Dec, in case we are still working on bringing Jalview’s web resources back to the internet.

Jalview’s alignment, secondary stucture and disorder prediction services are still down. We are working to get them back online as soon as possible today.
