This is a known problem with the compbio mailman config. It isn’t going to be fixed any time soon so I’d really suggest avoiding attachments as much as possible.

I prefer usually to redirect people to an issue with the relevant content. Attachments on issues are publicly accessible and linkable. This is particularly good for scripts which should eventually find their way into the “script library” (in examples/groovy).
