could not open JALview in MacOS Sierra

Dear Sir,

I have a problem with JALview software. I could not open JALview application, It is not run and no have any response.
My computer is Mac air with OS sierra. Before up-grading version, I have ever opened the Jalview in Mac OS EL captitan.
I tried by uninstalling this program, then installed again. It still did not work.
I followed the instruction from;
http://www.jalview.org/Jalviews-Installer-wont-run-on-my-Mac
Would you mind, please give any solution for opening JALview?

Hello Sirin,

We have some outstanding issues with code certificate signing for OSX to work through.

Meanwhile it should be possible for you to launch the WebStart version of Jalview.

Either click on ‘Launch Jalview Desktop’ at http://www.jalview.org/, or launch Webstart ‘Latest official build’ from

http://www.jalview.org/development/development-builds

(with a choice of memory allocations).

Do let us know if you have any problems with this!

Dear Jim Procter

I followed your links that OSX 2.10.1 bundled with Java does not launch Jalview.

BUT, I tried again with OSX 2.10.1 with no Java included, It’s WORK!! It can run Jalview from dock. Now, I actually can do the sequence alignments.

Please, say “thank you” to Mungo Carstairs for his help, too.
