configuring wrapping of alignment

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your help with my previous questions. I found part of the problem
with the annotations was that it is not possible under the wrap view, which is
what i'm using.

New question:
Is it possible to define the size of the sequence blocks? I'm trying to generate
a figure for publication and so used the wrap function and exported the
alignment. However in terms of my figure, i would like to wrap the alignment a
little differently so that there are fewer residues on a line. In something like
clustal you can define size blocks for your sequence. Is there anyway to adjust/
tailor how your alignment is wrapped/looks for export?

Thanks so much for your help.

There are several interactions which are not possible under wrapped view. We didn't spend too much effort fixing this partly because of the awkwardness the user experiences when trying to select columns spanning multiple blocks using the mouse.

this is straightforward - simply adjust the width of the alignment window to set the block width. There is also an obscure (and apparently out of date) documentation page describing this:
http://www.jalview.org/help/html/features/wrap.html

hope it helps
Jim.
