Code formatting

I’ve reinstated the default settings on Jalview-JS/develop for

  • code formatting rules - applied automatically on Save to edited lines only
  • additional actions on Save e.g. organise imports

These are in two files in the .settings folder. You should find ‘Project Specific Settings’ selected automatically under project Properties for Java Code Style | Formatter, and for Java Editor | Save Actions.

Please don’t update these settings without conferring, thanks.

OK, will do. As I recall I had to turn these off because they were causing some sort of unnecessary very time-intensive processing. Maybe that’s not an issue now. Totally get and approve of the idea, though. Same for me with Jmol.
