I have encountering a bug with the function "Remove Empty Columns" with
the most recent Jalview 2.4 (downloaded yesterday). Clicking on the
"Remove Empty Columns" buttom doesn't trigger any output.
I am using Windows XP.
Any idea.

Sorry to hear your having problems - just to be clear, are you sure
there are any empty columns to remove ?
try importing the following fasta file:
seq1
ac-c
seq2
ac-p
Applying remove columns should delete the third column, and you should
see an 'Undo Remove Columns' option under the edit menu. If jalview
doesn't find any columns to remove, then it won't do anything (and won't
tell you either, I'm afraid!).
