Bingo!

My problem with missing colors was the issue of new Color(float,float,float) being equivalent to new Color(int,int,int). I forgot to look for those.

I think now it is just a matter of getting some new Swing components worked out.

hmm - I see that the conservation values are wrong. OK, that will take some work…
