Annotations file cannot load in the applet

Hello Romain,

Sorry for the delay in replying, I was on holiday last week.
jalview-discuss@jalview.org is the monitored email address / discussion list for Jalview bugs and feature requests generally.
See http://www.jalview.org/mailman/listinfo/jalview-discuss

If you change your applet parameter name from "annotations" to "features" then the file will load correctly.

Your file is a Jalview features file (http://www.jalview.org/help/html/features/featuresFormat.html) rather than an annotations file (http://www.jalview.org/help/html/features/annotationsFormat.html).

Jalview desktop has a single menu option to load either an annotations or a features file, the applet has a distinct parameter for each type of file.

Let me know if any of that is not clear!

Best regards,

Mungo

Subject: Annotations file cannot load in the applet

Dear Mungo,

I am now trying to upload my files on my webserver, using the last
version of the applet.

With the applet, I manage to load the alignment and the tree, but
impossible to load the annotations file.
I don't think there is a problem with the file itself, as it loads
perfectly in Jalview stand alone.

I attached an archives of my files (don't pay attention to the old
reference). I would appreciate if you could give me some help.

(if I should have sent this email to another email, more generic, please
don't hesitate to redirect me).

Best regards,
Romain
