Hello,
There appears to be a problem with the alignments again.
This time I can connect to jabaws, but the message is:
Failed to submit sequences for alignment.
I have successfully run alignments with exactly the same input file just days ago.
Best wishes,
Agnieszka

It looks like the problem is still there. I am able to run a JNet prediction but can not do alignments. Both Alignment and Protein Disorder in the Web Services tab seem to be disabled.
Best wishes,
Agnieszka

Hello Agnieszka,
Is the problem persisting or is it ok now? I am seeing no error myself running a JNet prediction.
The Jabaws expert(s) will be in a little later and may be able to investigate if there were problems overnight.

Mungo Carstairs

Subject: [Jalview-discuss] web services
Hi,
I am having a bit of a problem accessing jalview web services.
When I open jalview I see the warning dialog box and when I
go to Tools → Preferences → Web Services the jabaws url: http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/jabaws is highlighted in red.
Any idea what could be the problem, my internet connection is fine, I’m using Windows 8.1.
Best wishes,
Agnieszka
