excellent! If you send me a link to the source or binary, I'll update the current version in the jalview development branch.
Incidentally, when this next version of jalview is released, it will also have to be packaged for distribution via debian.. which would mean that VARNA would get its own package too. Vincent Fourmand (Hi there Vincent@jalview-dev !) did Jalview's packaging last time - hopefully he'll be willing to help out again !
